Exotic Islands of Galapagos meet Secret Ancient Kingdom of Machu Picchu

Adventure Cost Rs. 129000

Trip Introduction :

South America is a bountiful continent and its marvels are many. We take you to two very special and protected gems of the continent. One is a group of volcanic Islands regarded as one of the World’s most unspoiled and important sites for wildlife-viewing and the other is a secret ancient Kingdom hidden within the lush Peruvian mountains. One is a marvelous showcase of biodiversity and the other is a top archaeological hotspot. What you are going to experience here, is a pure rarity.

We first explore the Galapagos islands of Ecuador, one of the few last places on Earth where life forms grow and prosper without the fear and intrusion of the human hands. An alien panorama, a land whose species once inspired the theory of evolution by Charles Darwin. These islands are so isolated and rare, that they are known to be home to a diversity of plant and animal species that you won’t find anywhere else on Earth.

After our excursions at sea level, we fly to Peru to enter an ancient secret kingdom snugged within the Peruvian mountains, one of the few well-preserved remnants of the Incan civilization in the world. Machu Picchu is a stone city that was built in the mid 15th century and abandoned around 1,00 years after it was built. The structure stands tall for over 5,00 years which clearly makes it an astonishing testament to the Inca’s incredible engineering feat and power. Get ready because we are going to explore the home of one of the largest empires of America, the Incan Empire.

Transfer to Guayaquil’s airport to take our flight to Galapagos. Arrive at Baltra Island which hosts the islands’ principal airport. We take a ferry to Santa Cruz Island and drive to an exclusive giant tortoise reserve. Perched high on a hillside overlooking the ocean, Magic Galapagos Tented Camp will be our home for the night. Our stay will be surrounded by picturesque mountains and forest and we’ll have the entire hillside only to ourselves and the resident giant tortoises.

Watch the beautiful sunset from Magic’s western perch and then head for a scrumptious three-course dinner, prepared by expert chefs in an open-air kitchen. Post dinner, you can also stroll around the natural lava tubes on the reserve in the one-of-a-kind ‘Lava Lounge’. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and reflect on the day around the fire.
